JBLCF Bacolod Lacsonians shine in NYLS 2019

Student Leaders from JBLCF-Bacolod celebrated victory after attending the Negrosanon Young Leaders Summit 2019 held January 2-6, 2018 at Haven of Grace Camp and Conference Center, Brgy. Utod, Pulupandan, Negros Occidental.

The delegation was composed of John Francis Perlado BSMarE 4 NSA (A, France Gerard Santamena BSMT 4 NSA, Franz Gabriel Baylon BSMarE 1 HG, Christian Octoso BSMT 1 PB, Daniel Abordo BSMT 1 PB, Jason James Isada Grade 11 Pre- Baccalaureate, and Leomar Roger Cagadas Alumnus, BSHRM- CSS 2018, SK Chairman Victorias City.

The 5-day summit was filled with various talks on Leadership, Community Involvement, and Network Making from various speakers from the Youth, Government, and NGOs. It was also filled with different indoor and outdoor activities that boosted the sense of leadership, responsibility and teamwork of the delegates. Each delegate was tasked to create projects for the community that will be implemented after the summit. They were judged by a panel of judges from different sectors. John Francis Perlado did the "Pas-asa Creek Initiative; France Gerard Santamena and Christian Octoso with the "Plastic Free si Juan", Franz Gabriel Baylon with the "Sinulatan: Ang Dalamgóhanon sang Katigulangan, Daniel Abordo with the "Project YASHA (Youth Advancement for Safety and Health Awareness", Jason James Isada with the "Paglaylo sang Panan-awon: Breaking Stigma in Muslim Stereotypes through Scouting Initiatives", Leomar Roger Cagadas with the "KK EARTH WARIORS", John Francis Perlado with the (Pag-Asa Creek Initiative) bagged awards for Project Pitching: Best Project Presentation, Best Project Concept, Most Innovative Project, NYLS 2019 Best Project (Top 1). Leomar Roger Cagadas (KK Earth Warriors) was also awarded with the NYLS 2019 Best Project (Top 3)
