Arevalo corps commander travels to Guam

The Corps Commander of the 802nd Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps (NROTC) Unit of John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University, Mdpn. Commander Joseph A. Lopez, will travel to Guam on November 13 for a weeklong exchange student program of the Guam National Guard.
 
Mdpn Commander Lopez is one of the 4 corps commanders all over the Philippines who is chosen to visit the University of Guam for the Guam National Guard Exchange Student Program.  They will be visitng the university from November 13-20  to share best practices and experience the trainings. In exchange 4 students from Guam will also visit the Philippines.
 
Lopez was recommended for the program by the Arevalo NROTC Commandant, Lt/Col Teodoro Briones, PN (M) GSC. Aside from the exchange program, Lt/Col Briones said that Lopez is also a grantee of the Chief of Staff Scholarship Program for the year worth fifty thousand pesos in cash.
 
Lopez believes that the said opportunity  will be productive and that through it he will be able to develop his attitude and personality.
 
The 802nd Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps (NROTC) Unit of John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University is the defending champion of  National Annual General Tactical Inspection (NAGTI).
