For the second year around, the Iloilo Paraw Regatta Foundation, Inc. partners with John B Lacson Foundation Maritime University in the celebration of the Paraw Regatta Festival.
The festival’s 45th year is with the theme “Showcasing the Philippines as a Maritime Nation which is appropriately in line with the university’s field. It will be opened tomorrow at the SM City Activity Center with SPECIAL PRESENTATION from the Zamba Performers (WVSU College of PESCAR)and Bayluhay Re Staging (WVSU College of PESCAR). There will also be the PRESENTATION OF MINIATURE PARAW entries, MISS PARAW REGATTA 2017 PRESENTATION OF CANDIDATES, FASHION SHOW and TALENTS NIGHT.

The festival will close next Sunday, February 19, at the Villa Arevalo Beach Side with a formal Closing and Awarding Ceremony, Lighted Paraw Competition, Paraw Regatta Battle of the Bands (iFM-JBLFMU) Battle of the Bands, and Fire Dance.
The Paraw Regatta Festival hosts the oldest sailing event in Asia.
JBLFMU on the other hand is committed in the advocacy of helping in the preservation of culture and environment and its involvement in the festicla furthers the thrust.
