JBLFMU CEO bestows Vanguard of Excellence Award to TOSIA, THOS and TOMSP Awardees

All ten awardees for the TOSIA, THOS and TOMSP were awarded the Vanguard of Excellence Award yesterday during the Coffee Break with the CEO.
 
The Vanguard of Excellence Award is a recent addition to institutional awards and is given to Top Ten awardees from the following community award-giving bodies:
 
Ten Outstanding Students of The Philippines (TOSP)
Ten Outstanding Maritime Students of The Philippines (TOSMP)
The Outstanding Students of Iloilo Awards (TOSIA)
The Outstanding Students Awards of Negros (THOS)
 
This year's batch of awardees received a certificate, a personal letter of commendation from our Chief Executive Officer Dr. Ronald Raymond Lacson Sebastian, and to everyone's surprise, a special Vanguard Of Excellence Ring to commemorate their achievement.
 
The award was given to TOSIA Elite Cricle of 5, Ms. Aime Hope P. Balico (Bachelor of Science in Customs Administration)and  Mdpn Steven O. Tajonera (Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering) from JBLFMU Molo;  Mdpn. John Carl T. Tagulalap, Mdpn. Michael M. Rosal and Mdpn. Thomas Richard E. Graza  all taking up Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation from JBLFMU Arevalo; TOSIA Top 10 Mdpn. Edvy Jannrei M. Berte (Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation) also from Arevalo; THOS Awardees Mdpwn Lovely Georgia Benavente (BS in Cruiseship Management) and Mdpn. Lemar Gabayeron (BS in Marine Engineering) both from JBLCF Bacolod; and TOMSP Awardees, Mdpn. John Carl Tagulalap (BSMT Arevalo) , Mdpn. Prince Nani Co (BSMarEng MOlo) and Mdpn. Noel Prince Cainap (BSMT JBLFC Bacolod).
 
Dr. Ronald Raymond Lacson Sebastian said that the feats are worthy of commendation as the students were able to show that they were able to imbibe the core values of the JBLFMU. The Vanguard of Excellence will motivate other students to also do their best.
 
The event also featured the annual Student Leaders' Coffeebreak with The CEO where student council officers from all our academic campuses came together to give a year-end report to our CEO as well as share best practices and air out student concerns from each campus.
