    To enhance the livelihood income and develop the skills of the women in the adopted barangays, the Community Extension Service (CES) Office in partnership with the Breaking Barriers for Young Adults with Disabilities -Training and Development Center of Molo, conducted a one day training in Beads accessories and Handicrafts Making at the BBY-TDC\ Office Molo, Iloilo City, January 21.

    With a purpose to save lives, John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University – Molo (JBLFMU-M) College Red Cross Youth (CRCY) Iloilo Chapter initiated a Blood Letting activity held at JBLFMU-Molo

    covered gym, July 11 and 23. Approximately 55 faculty and staff and students donated their blood. This activity is in coordination with the Brotherhood of Christian Businessmen and Professionals (BCBP) and Western Visayas Medical Center Hospital Team.

    The Municipality of Estancia, Iloilo is one of severely Municipalities affected by typhoon Yolanda last November 2013 . As part of the corporate social responsibility of JBLFMU-Molo, seventy (70) pcs. steel chairs were donated and turned over to Estancia Central School Last February13. This activity is in coordination with the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office headed by Dr. Neneth Q. Pador, PSWDO Head who likewise identified the said school as recipient of the activity .

    As part of their corporate social responsibility the model student committee headed by Mr. John Lorie Dulalia, Chairman Model Student Committee conducted outreach activity with the household members of the partner community, Brgy. Sooc, Arevalo, Iloilo City which include livehood skills training in basic baking (cake making), seminar on customer service, marketing, and advertising last March 2, 2013 at JBLFMU-Molo.

    Community Extension Service Society, a recognized student organization in John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University-Molo was chosen as one of the 20 national finalists in the 10th Search of the Ten Accomplished Youth Organization (TAYO) of the Philippines.

    In order to disseminate information about the Human Immune Deficiency Virus (HIV) and the Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS), the Community Extension Services (CES) conducted a HIV/ AIDS seminar last March 17, 2012.

    JBLFMU-Molo Community Extension Services (CES) in collaboration with the R2K Handicraft conducted skills training on stuff toy making last August 20, 2011 at JBLFMUMolo Gymnasium.

    As part of its outreach program, JBLFMUMolo Young Travelers Society (YTS), a student organization of the BS Tourism in close coordination with the Philippine Academy of Family Physicians initiated a medical and dental mission last February 18, 2011 in Sitio Villa Rica, Brgy. Trapiche, Oton, Iloilo.
