On education, there are several components. First is the provision for skills training for them to be able to secure employment or to engage in some entrepreneurial activities that will augment their income. Second is the tutorials to improve the learning outcomes of pupils in the grade school and high school for them to be better prepared for a college education at JBLFMU. Third is the student recruitment program from the high school located in the barangay for them to have an enhanced employment after graduation. Eventually, they may even become master mariners or chief engineers. By then, they will be able to contribute a significant level of income to the community in view of the high salary of marine officers ranging from $5,000 to as much as $ 7,000 a month.
