Representatives from the  Arevalo unit won 2 golds in the recently concluded Literary-Musical Contest of ILORPRISAA 2014.
Deck Cadet Elijah Jose Barrios won 1st place in the Extemporaneous Speaking Contest while Mdpn. Christopher John Artillo won the gold in Binalaybay.


Deck Cadet Kimberly Juanillo of the Gray Team and Midshipwoman Louise Jhen Wong from the Maroon Team stood out from the rest and grabbed the crown for Mr. & Ms. JBLFMU-A 2014 during the Mission Objective Week.

JBLCF-Bacolod celebrated a grand hurrah as they reaped medals and trophies at the  Negros Occidental Private School Sports, Cultural and Educational Association  (NOPSSCEA) Cultural, Musical Literary Competitions and Dance Fest.


Hands down and congratulations to John B. Lacson Colleges Foundation – Bacolod as the Department of Education of Region VI – Western Visayas granted the school an authority to operate a Secondary Level Education program for the School Year 2015-2016.

The Special Board of Marine Inquiry (SBMI) formed by the Philippine Coast Guard-Western Visayas (PCG-WV) is one of the hearing bodies of the PCG tasked to investigate marine casualties that occur within the area of responsibility of the PCG district.

Recently, a five day Seminar on IMO National Course for Advanced Maritime Simulators under their initiative was held at First Maritime Place, Makati City on August 27-31, 2012, with Director Nicasio Conti of MARINA and two Indian Nationals invited as lecturers.
