Three artists from the JBLFMU Arevalo  landed the top 10 spots during the 11th Department of Agrarian Reform On-the-Spot Poster Making Contest held at the SM City Activity Center last July 16, 2014.


The sport that JBLFMU Arevalo thought of making a part of its Physical Education Class because of its paddling requirement has become a sport that gave the unit additional pride.

Seven alumni of John B Lacson Foundation Maritime University Arevalo landed the top spots in the July, 2014 Marine Deck Licensure Examinations in OIC for Navigational Watch, Chief Mate and Master Mariner.

He always believed that a person can succeed at almost anything for which they have unlimited enthusiasm. For him, it was in the field of writing.

John B Lacson Colleges Foundation Bacolod through its administrator, Capt. Luis Evidente bagged the two most coveted annual awards for the school year 2013 to 2014, the President Emeritus for Leadership and the Chairman’s Award for Management Excellence.


Through the efforts of the STO office, a paralegal lecture on seafarers' rights was conducted by Sapalo Velez Bundang & Bulilan Law Offices (SVBB) at John B. Lacson Colleges Foundation - Bacolod Library last January 23, 2014.

Four of the Batch 2013 graduates of Bachelor of Science in Customs Administration successfully passed the 2013 Customs Broker Licensure Exam last October 22-23, 2013 at Manuel L. Quezon University, Manila, imparting John B. Lacson Colleges Foundation – Bacolod a passing rate of 100%.

Spearheaded by the Bachelor of Science in Customs Administration 3 (BSCA 3), a symposium regarding HIV/AIDS was conducted last December 14, 2013 at the John B. Lacson Colleges Foundation-Bacolod Covered Court.

Roger Ian Jomolo from BSME 1 – NSA (B) made history for JBLCF-B as he won as 2nd place in the National Poster Making Contest with the theme: “Libraries: Preservers and Promoters of Culture and Arts” of the Philippine Librarians Association, Inc.

Along with its fast-paced improvements, JBLCF – B finished constructing a three-story HMA building beside the Activity Center.



The Molo campus formally welcomed the freshmen through an acquaintance and orientation program held at the Molo Gymnasium on July 28.


One hundred thirty three students of JBLFMU-Molo donated blood for the Red Cross in two separate bloodletting activities held July 11 and July 23.

December 2, right after the flag ceremony, 184 John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University Molo- Inc. academic scholars received their star pin in recognition of their outstanding academic performance.

The Seagull (The Official Student Publication of John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University- Molo, Inc.) bagged 4 awards during the recently concluded College Press Conference (COPRE) and Awards ‘13 last November 28 at Iloilo Grand Hotel, Iloilo City.

Recently, a five day Seminar on IMO National Course for Advanced Maritime Simulators under their initiative was held at First Maritime Place, Makati City on August 27-31, 2012, with Director Nicasio Conti of MARINA and two Indian Nationals invited as lecturers.
