JBLCF-B Opens Newest Club: Peer Mentoring Organization

John B. Lacson Colleges Foundation- Bacolod continues to promote quality education as part of its advocacy. In line with this, the institution has continued its thrust by organizing a new club, the Peer Mentoring Organization (PMO) which is envisioned to extend academic support to students with difficulties in different major or minor subjects. 
 
Last September 28, 2015, the organization conducted an election to choose their first ever set of officers for Academic Year 2015-2016 at the school Audio Visual Room.  Midn. Edzille A. Porras of BSME 4-NSA was elected as the President of the organization.
 
“We need your cooperation gid. Kami nga mga officers indi man gid tanan alam. Kinanglan gid namon ang inyo bulig ilabi na gid kay bag-o pa lang ni nga organization,” said Midn. Porras in his speech.
 
PMO is open to all interested students of the institution who want to share their time, learnings, and skills. For more accessibility, the organization has also created a Facebook page, the John B. Lacson Peer Mentoring Org. which provides announcements and information for their upcoming activities. Also, in this page, anybody could ask and answer questions related to their subjects.
 
The organization is spearheaded by Dr. Araceli C. Doromal and Dr. Noel Ande Estimo, Chairman, Peer Mentoring Organization together with the different faculty members as Club Facilitators namely  Ms. Julie L. Verame and Mrs. Cheryl Villamarzo (Social Sciences), Ms. Alyn Libertad (Languages and Humanities ), Ms. Edgie B. Camento (Mathematics), 2/M Antonios Romo (Deck) , Engr. Aires Jade Labayen, and Engr. Joseph Dato-on (Allied and Sciences).
