John B. Lacson Colleges Foundation – Bacolod (JBLCF-Bacolod) and the City Government of Victorias formally strengthened their commitment to collaborative development through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on July 14, 2025, held at the Audio-Visual Room (AVR) of JBLCF-Bacolod.
The ceremonial signing was led by Hon. Mayor Abelardo “Junb” Bantug III together with officials of the City of Victorias, and Dr. Sylvino V. Tupas, Administrator of JBLCF-Bacolod, alongside the institution's academic and administrative leaders. The event marked a significant milestone in fostering stronger partnerships between the local government and the academic community.
The Memorandum of Understanding establishes a framework for collaborative initiatives that will benefit both institutions and the wider community. Through this partnership, JBLCF-Bacolod and the City of Victorias will work together in implementing community extension programs, environmental sustainability initiatives, research collaborations, and educational activities that promote inclusive growth and social responsibility. The agreement reflects the shared vision of both institutions to leverage their respective expertise and resources in creating meaningful, sustainable, and transformative programs that contribute to local development and nation-building.
