Fourteen sections of the Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation and the single-section of the Bachelor of Science in Criminology of this university underwent a deep reflection and spiritual renewal during the Recollection 2026 last March 30-31 at the JBL Hall.
Themed, "Bridging our BSMT graduating students closer to out Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Embracing the sacrament of Reconciliation: Way to Inner Transformation", the students experienced prayer, meditation, spiritual talks, examination of conscience, sharing in groups, and a confession.
The recollection was moderated by Mrs. Grace Onin, RN, the main recollection speaker, and her team facilitators: Sr. Fely Lopez, Mr. David Oliver Salaya, Pauline Cordova, Mrs. Valentina P. Macahilo, and Mrs. Rose Marie A. Sulit.
Moreover, during the first day, Rev. Fr. Nathaniel Gentizon, Vocation Director of St. Joseph Regional Seminary, presided the Lenten recollection mass. While, Rev. Fr. Niel Lasaca of the Redemptorist order from the St. Clements Church led the mass confession.
This event highlights the following United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs): Good Health and Well-Being (SDG 3), Quality Education (SDG 4), and Peace, Justice, and Strongย Institutions.
