Student-athletes of Iloilo Private Schools Athletic Association (ILOPRISAA) bagged the gold medal after a second set stand against the Capiz Private Schools Athletic Association (CAPRISAA), spiking their way to victory in the Western Visayas Private Schools Athletic Association Men's Beach Volleyball championship at Joe III Garden, April 9.
Thumping CAPRISAA in a complete team effort by brothers Clyde and Dyle Nalangan and Mdpn. Andrey Sescon, ILOPRISAA, hacked out a 21-18, 21-13 win.
The ILOPRISAA representatives were guided under Mr. Nheko Serojano, coach of the Men's Beach Volleyball from the University of San Agustin.
Sescon and the Nalangan brothers brought a full display of performance as they showcased tremendous aura, notably in the second and third sets, to foil CAPRISAAโs Patrick Base, Vince Ortiz, and Nasar Ompar's bid to extend the match, steering the ILOPRISAA to a perfect 2-0 win.
Despite the blazing heat of the sun, CAPRISAA's battle was to aim for more coming into the second set proceedings, but ILOPRISAA has maintained their focus on the zone to continue the fight.
From the beginning of the match, audience from different provinces witnessed drop after drop, blazing spikes and mind games in the court of sand as they fought for the winning column of the Men's Beach Volleyball.
