John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University (JBLFMU) has landed the 69th spot in the Empowerment-Based Management category of the World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) 2026.

This comes after JBLFMU has submitted its initiatives in the Igang Bay Sanctuary and its annual Eco-Adventure Camp, both made to enable students and stakeholders to take part in environmental stewardship.
