Poised with medals and certificates in hand, 23 unit organizations of John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University (Arevalo), Inc. graced the Silak Awards in the covered court today, May 7.

"Each one of you as awardees fully understand the criteria of this award. It is more than just camaraderie but it's working together to achieve success. The point is stronger brotherhood of members," said unit administrator Mr. Robert O. Parcia, MSMM, in his opening remarks.

Exemplary service awards, service awards, and active member distinctions were given to deserving members of the organizations, while certificates for the outstanding and active organizations as well as the most outstanding organization which was given to the Polaris Class Organization were also announced on the same event.

This was followed by the Lacsonian Sports Cup 2026 winners for chess, table tennis, volleyball, and basketball who were also bemedalled and took home trophies.

The program concluded with the formal induction for the newly elected officers of the Supreme Student Government (SSG) and Student Executive Council (SEC) for the College of Maritime Education and College of Criminal Justice Education.
