Engr. Roderick R. Germo, Ph.D., unit research coordinator of John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University (Arevalo), Inc., has been appointed to the peer review team of the International Journal for Research on Multidisciplinary Studies (IJROMS) last July 31, 2026. 

Engr. Germo is set to evaluate scholarly works submitted to the journal, particularly studies related to maritime education, educational technology, and research methodology.  

As part of the review team, he will assess research manuscripts for their academic quality, methodological soundness, and relevance before publication. 

Last year, Engr. Germo also joined the International Association of Maritime Universities research referee panel, where he continues to contribute his expertise to the evaluation of academic research in the maritime field. 

While carrying out his responsibilities as the unit’s research coordinator at JBLFMU (Arevalo), Inc., Engr. Germo is also part of its college faculty, having served the university for 25 years.
