LACSONIANS DOMINATE AMOSUP'S MEDIA CONTEST '22

Three John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University Arevalo, Inc. students emerged victorious in the Associated Marine Officers' and Seamens' Union of the Philippines (AMOSUP) Contemporary Media Contest last September 29.

 Mdpn. Edrian Mikel del Rosario bagged 2nd Place in Feature Writing for his entry "Voyages and Sacrifices: Setting Sails for a Better Tomorrow " while Alexis Carl Tabasin secured Top 5 in the same category for his entry "The Telltale Of Rosario and Rudy Sr."

 Meanwhile, Mdpn. Jose Angelo U. Esquerra sealed another Top 5 victory in the Infographic Design category with his work entitled "COVID -19's Impact On Seafarers' Welfare Onboard And Offshore."

 The Bachelor of Science in Maritime Transportation (BSMT) students claimed their recognition online via ZOOM with the physical recognition being held at the JSU-AMOSUP Sports Complex and Maritime Museum, Malate, Manila.

 The AMOSUP Media Contest, based on the 2022 National Maritime Week, aimed on reaching out to different Maritime Higher Education Institutions (MHEIs), especially young future seafarers, to enhance their creative skills and their stories to be untold.
