JBLFMU (Arevalo), Inc. conducts pre-boarding program to BSMT III students

The Student Affairs and Services (SAS) Department supervised a pre-boarding conference at JBL Hall in preparation for the graduating students, May 14.

Themed, "Empowering, Equipping, and Enhancing the Skills of Future Seafarers: Pre-Employment Program for BSMT 3 Graduating Students," the program series introduced inspiring speakers with their respective topics.

"You are the lowest mammal onboard. You should teach yourself with humility. We have different cultural backgrounds, some may find your courtesy a disrespect," said Captain John Vicent Calesterio, Marine Superintendent, BW LPG.

BW LPG is the world's leading owner and operator of LPG vessels, owning and operating a fleet of Very Large Gas Carriers (VLGCs) with a total carrying capacity of over 3 million CBM.

The program is meant to help the students maintain overall wellness, enhance core values,  and discussed issues regarding gender inequality and bad habits of seafarers onboard ship.
