2/M Abcede Bangalisan II, University's Head of Discipline (HOD) and Head of Laboratory Department, brought honor and pride to the University as he presented his research study at the 29th International Maritime Lecturers Association in Istanbul (IMLA29), Turkey, last September 25 to 28.

His research study entitled “User’s Evaluation on the Effectiveness of the Innovative Learning Resource Online Platform in a Developing Country” was presented with other maritime instructors and personnel at The Green Park Pendik Hotel and Convention Center in Istanbul.

Istanbul Technical University Maritime Faculty and Piri Reis University facilitated the conference, which aims to unite maritime educators, researchers, industry experts, and policymakers to explore and discuss the latest trends, challenges, and innovations in the industry.

Moreover, the conference has hands-on workshops, insightful panel discussions, and engaging sessions designed to focus on professional growth, networking opportunities, and fostering collaboration among participants.
