In its relentless pursuit of quality education and training, John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University (JBLFMU) participated in the 50th annual convention of the Philippine Association of Maritime Institutions (PAMI) held at the Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific (MAAP) in Mariveles, Bataan, last February 10-21.
Led by Dr. Ronald Raymond L. Sebastian, Chief Executive Officer of JBLFMU, the Unit Administrators, Executive Assistant, and the OIC for the International Relations Office were present in the said conference.
The event, themed βRedefining Maritime Academic Leadership Toward Innovation and Digital Transformation," involved discussions about various contemporary maritime issues, including technological advancement and regulatory challenges.
PAMI is an umbrella organization composed of around 80 active Maritime Higher Education Institutions (MHEIs) in the Philippines.
