MARITIME PROGRAM
ADMISSION POLICY
A graduate of any academic secondary and/or vocational high school or a transferee from other colleges/universities may be granted admission to the college provided that he/she presents valid credentials meets the admission requirements of the department to which he/she seeks enrollment. 
All curricular offerings are open to both male and female students. The entrance requirements vary according to the status and the curriculum in which he/she desires to enroll or register.
All enrollees must pass through the Admission Board as the first step in the whole enrollment process.
 
REQUIREMENTS FOR ADMISSION:
MARITIME PROGRAM
·         Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation (BSMT)
·         Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering (BSMarE)
1.     Must have taken and passed the Entrance Exam / Qualifying Exam for BSMT or BSMarE
2.     Original Form 138 High School Card (3 pcs. photocopy)
3.     Certificate of Good Moral character issued by the school last attended (3 pcs. photocopy)
4.     Birth Certificate (SECPA) (3 pcs. photocopy)
5.     7 pcs. 2x2 ID picture
6.     20/20 vision/normal color perception (passed the ISHIHARA Test for Color Blindness)
7.     Original Transfer Credentials with Transcript of Records and 3 pcs. Photocopy (for Transferees)
8.     Physically, mentally and emotionally fit
 
ACADEMIC PROBATION
A student placed on probation is one whose admission to retention in the college has become temporary because of academic deficiency, behavioral problem or whose performance or status is under observation. 
Only students who have passed all subjects enrolled in the current semester and have met the standards set up in the Code of Conduct and Discipline are made to continue their course
A student is placed under probationary status when:
a. he/she failed in one or two of his/her academic subjects;
b. he/she committed a minor infraction of the Code of Conduct and Discipline as determined by the Conduct Board;
c. as transferee, he/she had low academic performance in his/her current term.
 
A student is denied admission/re-admission on any of the following grounds:
a. Violation of the School Rules and Regulations
b. Per Conduct Board decision on cases brought to the Board for dispensation
c. Health reasons
d. Conviction of a crime or with pending criminal case against him/her 
e. Incurred 3 or more failing marks in the current term
f.  Placed on probation for 3 successive terms (semester/summer)
g. as per Admission Board recommendation on the violation of the school's retention policy.
 
BUSINESS DEPARTMENT

·          Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management major in Cruise Ship Services (BSHRM-CSS)
