THE STORIES BEGIN: GRADE 12 ARAFURA OPENS THE FILM FESTIVAL 2026

The screen is ready, and Creativity are about to unfold.

Grade 12 Arafura of the Basic Education Department (BED) at John B. Lacson Colleges Foundation kicks off the Film Festival 2026, bringing student-made cinema to the forefront through productions shaped by imagination, collaboration, and creative vision.

Behind every frame is a story of students who stepped beyond the classroom to become writers, directors, actors, editors, cinematographers, and storytellers. Their films showcase not only their technical skills but also their ability to transform ideas and experiences into compelling narratives.

Adding another creative dimension to the festival, the students have produced promotional posters for their respective films—visual works designed to capture attention while giving audiences a first look at the stories waiting behind the screen.

Which poster caught your eye?

Support your favorite entry by reacting to and sharing its poster. Every reaction contributes to the race for the Most Popular Poster Award, giving the audience a chance to become part of the festival experience.

But the spotlight does not end with Arafura.

MORE STORIES ARE COMING!

The excitement continues as Grade 12 Arabian, Aral, and TVL prepare to bring their own productions to the festival. With different stories, styles, and creative approaches waiting to be unveiled, the next screenings promise even more surprises.

So grab your popcorn, watch closely, and get ready to cheer for our student filmmakers.

One festival.

Many stories.

Countless dreams waiting for the screen.

Stay tuned. The next film is coming soon
