The 824th NROTC Unit of John B. Lacson Colleges Foundation – Bacolod is in full compliance with the celebration of the 32nd National Crime Prevention Week with its participation in a highly impactful crime prevention forum conducted on September 5, 2026, to empower the youth to participate in public safety and peace-building efforts.

Almost 700 MS1 Cadets joined to increase their knowledge regarding current security concerns, especially in relation to vital issues in the realm of cyber space:

Cybercrime Awareness: Resource Speaker PCPT Joe Carlo Leocadio presented an engaging session about digital threats, stressing the need for vigilance, digital hygiene, and appropriate reporting of any criminal activity on the internet.

Child Protection & Safeguarding: Resource Speaker Patrolwoman Jobeth C. Querante gave a highly relevant discourse on OSAEC (Online Sexual Abuse or Exploitation of Children) and CSAEM (Child Sexual Abuse or Exploitation Materials), reiterating the duty of every citizen to prevent the production, possession, and distribution of any such materials related to children.
