The seminar featured a keynote address by๐๐ฟ. CHED Regional Director for the Negros Island Region, followed by plenary sessions led by ๐๐ฟ. ๐ฉ๐ถ๐ผ๐น๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฎ on smart environmental initiatives, innovative solutions for climate action, and translating green-campus policies into actual practice.

More than sharing established practices, the activity gave participants the opportunity to examine how research, technology, collaboration, and institutional commitment can respond to environmental concerns. Discussions highlighted research-based environmental action, partnerships with communities and government, climate-responsive institutional practices, and the importance of making sustainability part of everyday campus life. During the workshop, participants translated these lessons into proposed institutional action plans anchored on their respective vision, mission, quality policies, and relevant Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The day concluded with the presentation of workshop outputs, recognition of participating institutions, and a renewed call to bring the day's learning back to their respective schools. More than a one-day gathering, the seminar-workshop reinforced a simple but important message: responsible stewardship becomes meaningful when what we learn through research is reflected in what our institutions actually do.
