John B. Lacson Colleges Foundation β Bacolod Inc. (JBLCF-B) held its first Recognition Ceremony for the College of Higher Education (CHED) Scholarship Grantees, June 9, 2023.
With the theme, βCelebrating Excellence, Honoring Achievements, Empowering Discipline, and Demonstrating Gratitude,β this momentous event marked the start of an annual celebration of CHEDβs unwavering support towards the Lacsonians through its financial assistance program.
In line with this, CHED offers various scholarship programs such as the CHED Scholarship Program (CSP)βfull merit or half merit scholarship; Tertiary Education (TES); and the Tulong-Dunong TES scholarship grant.
Students coming from the second-year up to the fourth-year marched with their parents or loved ones as they received a Certificate of Recognition as recipients under the Student Financial Assistance Program of CHED in the Academic Year 2022-2023.
This momentous event was graced by Catherine Yasay β Obinsa, a fellow CHED Scholarship Grantee Lacsonian who graduated in batch 2013, who gave the current scholars a message to live with as they pursue their career.
