JBLFMU-Molo TechVoc Center held its “Global Kitchens Immersion: Global Flavors, Local Experience” at the University gym today, April 29, featuring practical culinary demonstrations for the students.

Chefs JV Victoriano and Michele Dona led the live cooking session, where they prepared dishes inspired by international cuisine and explained how similar recipes can be made using locally available ingredients. They also demonstrated basic kitchen techniques and shared practical tips from their experience in the industry.
Students participated by observing closely, asking questions, and learning how professional kitchen setups operate in real situations. The activity gave them a clearer idea of what to expect in actual hospitality work.
The immersion aimed to support hands-on learning and expose students to industry practices in a straightforward way, in line with the TechVoc Center’s training approach.
With the theme “Experience Two Worlds’ Cuisine in One Amazing Day,” the event focused on learning and exposure to different culinary styles without leaving out local food resources.
