Lacsonian Org: Visayas Finalist for People Award

Congratulations to the JBLFMU-Molo Peer Facilitating Program for being named a Visayas Finalist for the People Award at the prestigious Ten Outstanding UN SDG Awards (TOUSA). The award was received by peer facilitator Mdpn. Joshua Den Mark Nones and their adviser, Mr. Raymund Benedick Brillantes, during the awarding ceremony last June 27.

The event was a major highlight of the UN SDGs Youth Convergence held from June 24 to 28 in Puerto Princesa, Palawan, which brought together some of the country's most inspiring young changemakers.

The organization was among a pool of over 1,000 youth organizayion applicants nationwide. They earned their spot at the top by creating meaningful initiatives that make a real difference, staying deeply committed to sustainable development, and actively working toward the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals to help build a better, fairer future for everyone.

Being recognized on a national stage like this is a massive testament to the hard work, passion, and heart that our Lacsonian Peer Facilitators and mentors pour into everything they do. You truly are the heartbeat of positive change.

Thank you for hoisting the JBLFMU-Molo flag so high and showing everyone how powerful youth-led programs can be. The entire Lacsonian community is incredibly proud of you. Keep inspiring, keep leading, and keep changing the world, one SDG at a time!
