JBLFMU welcomed Latsco Marine Management Inc. (V-Ships-Kestrel Shipping, Inc.) as it conducted its cadetship screening for third year Deck and Engine cadets from the University's three academic campuses. Leading the team were Capt. Anastasios Anthis (Owner's Representative), together with Capt. Rimer V. Luistro, Capt. Jersum M. Prudente, and C/E Iris Jim Lin Paiton.

Through a written examination and a personal interview, the company identified promising cadets who possess the competence, character, and potential to become future officers at sea. JBLFMU-Molo's Marine Engineering cadets came prepared, confident, and determined, exemplifying the readiness expected of future Lacsonian seafarers.
