Mdpnโค Paul Jedrick Pโค Villanuevaโ a Polaris 3B student from the College of Maritime Engineeringโ was named as one of the Top 10 finalists of the ASEAN Youth Speech Contest 2026 among over a thousand entries from all Southeast Asian countriesโค
He is one of only three Filipino contenders to enter the ASEAN competitionโ which brought prideโ honorโ and recognition to the Lacsonian community and the Philippinesโค
His selection is a testament to his sustained effort in campus journalism and public speaking, where he contributes as Sports Editor of The Seagull Publication and as a Polaris cadet.
The final round of the contest will be held on August 6, 2026 at C asean, CW Tower, Bangkok, Thailand, where finalists will compete under the theme โNavigating Our Future, Togetherโ.
