The John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University-Molo Dolphins swimming team delivered a strong performance at the Philippine Aquatics Inc. Region VI Short Course Leg 1, held on July 11–12, 2026, at the University of St. La Salle in Bacolod City.
Competing against swimmers from across Western Visayas, JBLFMU's Hans Iñigo Parreño was declared the Most Outstanding Swimmer in the Men's 19 and Over category after winning five gold medals and three silver medals, leading the Dolphins' campaign in the regional meet.
Contributing to the team's medal haul were Andrei Zarate 2 gold, 4 bronze, Elijah Cade Ubaldo 1 silver, 4 bronze, and Artemio Francious Ford III Martizano 3 bronze, 3 gold.
