With the aim to enhance the shipbuilding sector in Western Visayas, the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Regional Office VI, led by Engr. Rowen R. Gelonga in collaboration with John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University (Molo), recently held discussions with Professor Sirius Park and Ms. Trisha Gervacio from South Korea's Busan Marine Engineering Association (BUEA), January 27.
The focus of the meeting was on fostering international partnerships with the goal of advancing the region's shipbuilding capabilities through knowledge exchange and technology transfer.
