Jan Reynard L. Galilea, a BS Cruise Ship Management student and the News Editor of The Seagull, and Alexandra May T. Tarroja, also taking up BS Cruise Ship Management and serving as the publication’s Associate Editor, were recognized among the country’s dedicated and committed student leaders.

Out of hundreds of applicants across the nation, only 24 were named to this year’s batch of OSLP finalists.

The selection followed months of rigorous interviews and evaluations, focusing on each nominee’s leadership impact, advocacy work, and community service.

Galilea and Tarroja have both actively championed student journalism and youth leadership within and beyond the university, serving not only as writers and editors but also as role models and changemakers in the campus community.

The official announcement was made by TRAC Philippines through their Facebook page today, June 5, 2025
