Mdpn. Jan Reynard Galilea, a 4th year Bachelor of Science in Cruise Ship Management student of John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University (Molo), Inc., was named as one of the finalists for the Most Outstanding SK Chairperson in Iloilo during The Paragons: Bugal Sang Iloilo Awards Year 2 on August 29.
Held at District 21 Hotel, Iloilo City, the ceremony honored individuals recognized for their leadership and commitment to local governance.
Galilea earned the recognition through his initiatives and service as a Sangguniang Kabataan chairperson in his community.
The event also brought together youth leaders and other awardees from across Iloilo, highlighting their role in shaping community development.
Currently, Galilea serves as the News Editor and Editorial Assistant of The Seagull, official student publication of JBLFMU-Molo.
