JBLFMU-M marks freshmen’s symbolic Imposition of Paraphernalia

The John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University (Molo), Inc. held a symbolic imposition of paraphernalia for first-year BSMarE, BSCSM, and BSCA students at the university’s covered gym earlier this morning, September 22, after the nation wide simultaneous flag-raising ceremony.

Mr. Kim Caabas, Head of Student Discipline, emphasized the significance of the ceremony as the freshmen’s final step toward becoming True-Blooded Lacsonians.

The importance of each piece of paraphernalia in the school uniform was discussed, with senior students from each department assisting in its formal donning.

Afterward, Angel Hope Tabladillo, Corps Commander of the 802nd NROTC-Molo, led the pledge of commitment and loyalty to JBLFMU, emphasizing the value of the tradition to the students participating in the event.

This year’s Imposition of Paraphernalia coincided with the National Maritime Week Celebration, making it even more meaningful as it highlights the importance of tradition, discipline, and unity.

Congratulations to all!
