JBLFMU Dolphins shine at 1st Mayor Greg Gasataya Masskara Swimming Cup


The John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University (Molo), Inc. Dolphins Swim Team competed at the 1st Mayor Greg Gasataya Masskara Swimming Cup held at the Saint John’s Institute Sports Pavilion Swimming Pool, Ayala, Talisay City, October 11–12, 2025.

The team’s strong determination and discipline were reflected in their performance, with two athletes earning multiple medals in various events.

Mdpn. Hans Iñigo Parreño showcased remarkable prowess, earning six silver medals in the 200-meter Freestyle, 200-meter Individual Medley, 100-meter Freestyle, 100-meter Butterfly, 100-meter Breaststroke, and 50-meter Freestyle events, along with a bronze in the 100-meter Backstroke.

Thirdy Martizano added to the team’s success with two silver finishes in the 50-meter Breaststroke and 100-meter Breaststroke events.

The event was attended by the Philippine Aquatic, Inc., which also helped organize the competition to promote national swimming development and athletic excellence in this regional event.
Their impressive medal haul highlights not only their athletic excellence but also their commitment to the values that embody the Lacsonian spirit.
