Kimberly Anne Custodio, an alumna of John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University (Molo), hands the Philippines its first jiu-jitsu gold in the Women's Ne-Waza 48kg event after defeating host nation Thailand in the Southeast Asian Games 2025.

Custodio is a graduate of the Bachelor of Science in Cruise Management, Class of 2007, and is now raising the flag of the Philippines with pride and dignity, giving the country its first gold in jiu-jitsu.
From her beginnings as a Midshipwoman to becoming one of the country’s outstanding athletes, we, the Lacsonian community, are deeply proud and grateful for the honor she has brought to our institution and to the nation.
