Fourth-year Bachelor of Science in Cruise Ship Management (BSCSM) students of John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University (Molo), Inc. successfully completed their International Cruise Immersion Program in Singapore, Malaysia, and regional Indonesian waters from February 9–14, 2026.

As part of the program, the students embarked on Genting Dream under Dream Cruises, where they toured the vessel and immersed themselves in the onboard environment of an international cruise ship. The experience allowed them to observe cruise amenities, hospitality facilities, entertainment venues, and guest service areas within a working cruise setting.
In Singapore, the delegation visited key tourism landmarks, including Merlion Park and Gardens by the Bay, two of the country’s most recognized national icons located along Marina Bay. The students also explored major waterfront and commercial districts known for hosting international visitors and cruise passengers.

The Malaysia leg of the immersion included students experiencing river cruising along the Malacca River in Melaka, where they observed historical structures, preserved colonial architecture, and riverside developments that contribute to the city’s tourism identity. The next day, the students took a visit to Penang, a prominent cultural and heritage destination frequently featured in regional cruise itineraries.
The international academic tour concluded with a graduation ceremony held after the completion of the cruise immersion, formally recognizing the BSCSM 4 students for successfully finishing their International Cruise Immersion requirement as part of their Bachelor of Science in Cruise Ship Management program.
The voyage covered regional waters, sailing through the seas of Indonesia as part of its Southeast Asian route.
