Internationalization Corner
John B. Lacson Colleges Foundation – Bacolod department heads visited University of St. La Salle for an international benchmarking activity on July 25, 2025.
The discussion focused on the internationalization activities of the university that include local and international partnerships, enrollment of inbound and outbound international students, attendance to international conferences, language and cultural immersion, budget for internationalization activities, and research.
JBLCF-Bacolod was represented by 3/E Bernard Sorbito - Quality Assurance Manager, Dr. Emeliza Estimo –Research Coordinator, Dr. John Erll Destacamento – Dean of the College of Maritime Education, Mr. Reinand Ramirez – Chief Accountant, Mr. Ivan June Gayotin – CES Officer, and Mr. Jun Montano – International Relations Coordinator.
The meeting provided an opportunity for JBLCF-Bacolod delegates to learn from the strong and effective internationalization of USLS. Furthermore, it opened the door for collaboration between the two institutions in the field of research, education, and training.
