PCG and Partners Dive Into Action: Scubasurero and Coastal Clean-Up in Guimaras

On November 25, 2023, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), in partnership with JBLFMU and the Municipality of Nueva Valencia, Guimaras, successfully conducted a Scubasurero and Clean-Up Drive at JBLCF Puerto del Mar, Villa Igang, and Igang Bay Marine Sanctuary. The initiative focused on removing underwater and coastal waste, restoring marine habitats, and promoting environmental awareness. Through coordinated efforts, participants actively contributed to preserving the natural beauty and ecological integrity of the area. This activity highlights the importance of multi-sector collaboration in safeguarding coastal and marine environments while fostering community engagement and sustainable stewardship.
