On March 15, 2024, committee members from JBLFMU, DENR–PENRO Guimaras, GENRO, and the MENRO of the Municipality of Nueva Valencia convened at the JBLFMU Ecological Park to finalize preparations for the upcoming 6th Eco-Camp, scheduled on May 8–11, 2024. The meeting served as a crucial coordination activity to align roles, logistics, and program components essential to the successful implementation of the camp.
Guided by the theme “Preserving Our Planet: Empowering Sustainable Communities,” the committee focused on strengthening environmental education, community engagement, and inter-agency collaboration. Key discussions centered on activity design, resource sharing, environmental safeguards, and strategies to maximize youth participation and learning outcomes.
