From August 13 to 16, 2024, the JBLFMU Community Extension Services (CES), in partnership with ERDA Foundation Inc. and PCGA 601.13 Division, distributed school supplies to over 400 student beneficiaries across several barangays in Guimaras for the School Year 2024–2025. The initiative reached Barangays Poblacion, Igang, Magamay, Sto. Domingo, Pandaraonan, and Dolores in Nueva Valencia, as well as Brgy. Ravina in Sibunag.
Through the provision of essential learning materials, JBLFMU aims to empower students, support their educational journeys, and foster equitable access to quality education. This effort reflects the University’s commitment to Sustainable Development Goal 4, promoting inclusive and equitable quality education and lifelong learning opportunities. Through community partnerships and targeted initiatives, JBLFMU continues to strengthen educational support and development for its partner communities.
