The School Year 2025–2026 proved to be another productive and meaningful year for John B. Lacson Colleges Foundation-Bacolod as the institution strengthened its commitment to academic excellence through a series of collaborations with prestigious colleges and universities in the region. These partnerships were formalized through memorandums of understanding and agreements aimed at promoting shared growth and innovation in higher education.
The collaboration initiatives began with research-specific agreements forged with VMA Global College in Bacolod City, St. Therese MTC Colleges in Iloilo City, the University of Antique in the Province of Antique, and Far Eastern University. These partnerships highlighted the institution’s dedication to advancing research initiatives and fostering academic cooperation among higher education institutions in Western Visayas.
In the latter part of the academic year, JBLCF-Bacolod further expanded its network by signing memorandums of understanding with several respected institutions in Negros Occidental, including Colegio San Agustin Bacolod, Central Philippines State University in Kabankalan City, University of St. La Salle Bacolod, and Philippine Normal University–Visayas in Cadiz City.
The signed agreements focus on collaboration in academics, research, training, community extension, and other institutional activities that may benefit both parties. Through these partnerships, JBLCF-Bacolod continues to strengthen its role as an institution that values cooperation, innovation, and shared educational advancement for the benefit of students, faculty, and the wider community.
