RENGIL V. MANA-AY, a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering was among The Outstanding Students (THOS) 2022 Finalists and he received the Community Service Excellence Award, from the prestigious JCI Bacolod, Inc. last June 11, 2022 at Ayala Malls Capitol Event Center.

This is an annual recognition awarded to students who have made significant contributions to their school and community. The award is organized yearly by JCI Bacolod, Inc. For more than 50 years, The Outstanding Student (THOS) Awards continues to be considered as the most prestigious province-wide recognition for the best and brightest students. This is also an avenue for fellowship of hundreds of young people who excel in academics, leadership skills, community service and also in personal integrity.

THOS Awards hopes to highlight inspiring examples that will motivate the younger generations to attain greater heights of personal achievement and professional accomplishment, in the spirit of selfless service to humanity. The Community Service Excellence award is given to the finalist who has shown exemplary performance in the field of community service. Mana-ay graduated With Honors and a Bouvet Shipping Management Corporation Sponsored Cadet.
