John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University (Molo), Inc. (JBLFMU-M) topped this yearโs System Model Cadet selection, bagging both first and second places during the 78th Foundation Anniversary held at the JBLFMU-M Gym.
Mdpn. Felix Jesus Leja III claimed this yearโs coveted System Model Cadet title, while Mdpn. Russ Nhel D. Aurelas notched the first-runner up spot.
They were then followed by Mdpn. Brave Niรฑo Blanco of John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University (Arevalo) Inc., (JBLFMU-A) as the second runner-up to complete this yearโs batch of winners.
In the question and answer portion, Mdpn. Blanco emphasized the importance of using online social media outlets as a solution to ease the geopolitical tension, and also tackle the importance of seafarerโs mental well-being on board amidst the physically and mentally demanding workload.
The selection also granted minor awards, namely the Leadership Award, given to Mdpn. Earl Luiz B. Militar of John B. Lacson Colleges Foundation Bacolod(JBLCF-B); the Best in Talent Award given to Mdpn. Leja, and the Best in Interview Award, notched by Mdpn. Tristan Matthew Miraflor of JBLCF-B.
