Participants for the 78th Foundation Week Innovation Exhibit were mentioned for their efforts towards advancing maritime education through innovation, at the Exhibition Room today, February 4.
Faculty, staff, and students from three campuses witnessed the opening of the third day, as the Innovation Exhibit was opened by Mr. Robert O. Parcia, MSMM, highlighting a conceived platform of creativity and fostered collaboration of the three units.
"This is our firm commitment towards a vision of innovative and quality education through use of interactive screens. We are happy to inform that the exhibition will be open until Friday and is open to all JBLFMU Community," Mr. Parcia said in his opening speech.
Rationale of each participating proponents were introduced namely, "JA SHS Robotics Program" by Mary Mae Jun P. Esmaya, Ph.D. and Ms. Jean Rose E. Genova; "AAO Academic Exam Results System" by 2/M Karl Danielle H. Sira and Mr. Jonepit Deslate; and "Steering and Sailing Rules: Digitalized Instruction" by 2/M Loren Steve Glumalid, Mr. Hector Montelibano Jr., and Dr. Brian Gil Sarinas.
Three innovations came from JBLCF-Bacolod and two from the host campus, JBLFMU-Molo. The innovations are either displayed on screen or fixed on location at the exhibition room open for the whole duration of the foundation week.
