The Bureau Veritas visited John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University (JBLFMU) to carry out this year's ISO Surveillance Audit under EOMS 21001:2018, February 25-27.

The three-day audit covered JBLFMU-Molo, JBLFMU-Arevalo, and JBLF, Inc., and concluded with the JBLFMU top management on February 27.

This comprehensive evaluation of the Bureau Veritas aims to ensure JBLFMU's quality standards are sustained in its delivery of maritime education and training services across the university’s different branches.

The audit involves the active participation of JBLFMU unit Department heads, Chief Executive Officer, and Executive Council Members, making sure that all processes are aligned with the international standards maintained by the institution.

This process aligns with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) Number 4: Quality Education and Number 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth.
