Familiar faces and memories rushed back as officers and members of the John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University-Arevalo Alumni gathered for a face-to-face meeting held at the JBL Hall on July 27, 2022.

 The meeting, officiated by Capt. Alfred G. Espinosa, discussed the decentralization of the association (with each unit recognizing its own Alumni Association), presented the benefits applicable to alumni members, current plans and projection of the institution and laid down the main objectives of the association. The meeting also discussed activities related to the forthcoming 75^th Foundation Week Celebration and the Maritime Archipelagic Nation Awareness Month (MANA MO) celebration this September.

The highlight of the meeting was the election and induction of the first-ever Alumni Association Officers of the Arevalo Unit with our very own BSMT Dean C/O Virmari S. Tan as the newly-elected President.
