LACSONIAN FILM GRABS BEST SOUND DESIGN  IN COLOMBIAN INTERNAT’L FILM FEST

Aningal Sang Taguangkan (Echoes from the Womb), the latest film made by Lacsonian Filmmakers, won as the Best Sound Design at the 2nd Festival de Cortometrajes Nos Vemos en 16:9 in Bogotá, Colombia.

The film competed in the International "Unconditional" category (films without location restrictions). It is a folkloric psychological horror filmed in Calinog and Dingle, Iloilo and the only film entry from Southeast Asia.

The casts and crew behind the film are all Ilonggos and mostly Lacsonian students.  The production of the film was headed by Rovic Lopez (writer and director), accompanied by Aaron Dave Escobido (cinematographer), John Paul Demasu-ay, Venice Marie Arroyo, Paul John Dexter Geronimo (production designers), Kyle Fredrick Jabian (editor), Val Glecer Gabriel Geriosa (original music composer), Aleck Jeanne Calata (original song performer), Roque Robe Felix Armada (make-up artist), Paul John Dexter Geromiano (choreographer), Mark Joseph Alovera, Lawrence Jabian (camera assistants), Clent Kieven Capre (drone pilot), Xavier Jabian (storyboard), and Reve Peremne, Glory Ann Castre and Kezia Camille Tenefrancia (main cast).

 Joanna Jacinth Ferrer, Aldin Turija and Dr. Jesus Insilada served as film consultants while Elvert Bañares, a renowned Ilonggo director, served as its producer. The film was produced by e-unlimited.
