In the final day leading up to the election, a grand rally was held for the official Student Executive Council (SEC) candidates in JBLFMU-A Covered Gym, April 13.

In front of the 20 panelists and the student body, the candidates delivered their speeches outlining their visions and plans as student leaders to serve the Lacsonian Community.

Despite having no opposing party in higher-ups, the Pwersa Marino Partylist took to the stage to convince at least 50% of the entire voting population to secure their position.

Moreover, to test the leadership approach of every candidate, an open forum was conducted where panelists and students threw questions concerning different issues with regards to student-related factors.

“Based on the performance the candidates have shown during this year’s Grand Rally, I am confident to say that the student body is in good, capable hands." said Mdpwn. Kezia Camille Tenefrancia, SCOMEL President.

The JBLFMU-A Student Commission on Elections (SCOMEL) officers organized the said event with the guidance of Ms. Majah Angelica Sapio, SCOMEL Adviser.
