Embodiment of excellence!

Capt. Alfred G. Espinosa, Administrator of John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University (Arevalo), Inc., has successfully conquered the rigorous Harbor Pilot Examination administered by the Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA).

The coverage of the issuance of this license applies to those who are interested in becoming licensed harbor pilots in specific pilotage areas in the Philippines.

Harbor pilots are highly trained and certified navigational experts responsible for guiding ships safely through intricate waterways and harbors, ensuring the secure transit of vessels, cargo, and passengers.

Moreover, Memorandum Circular No. 141 states that “Pursuant to Section 12 (g) of Executive Order 125/125-A which mandates the Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) to undertake the issuance of a license to qualified Harbor pilots.”

This milestone sets an inspiring precedent for our institution, highlighting our commitment to excellence in both education and industry proficiency.

The whole Lacsonian community celebrates with your achievement! Congratulations!
