RESEARCH CAPABILITY TRAINING 2023

John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University (Arevalo), Inc. held its annual Research Capability Training 2023 participated by Department Heads, Faculty Researchers, together with Graduate School, and selected students in BS Crim, Bsmt 2, Grade 11 and Grade 12, October 23, at the JBL Hall.

The program kicked off with the opening remarks coming from the school's Administrator Capt. Alfred G. Espinosa Ph.D. followed with the justification of the JBLFMU Research and Extension Director Dr. Melchor M. Magramo and the introduction of the guest speaker Dr. Lovella S. Divigrancia, a Professional Education and Trainer and Researcher.

Moreover, the research review involved an interactive review of the survey and innovative research, and an open forum tackling the issues in cutting edge which one of the faculty has suggested a "mismatch" in terms of graduates or students in present who cannot pass the company examination."Research can help us review and inform what is the best decision to be make especially in the university " Dr. Lovella S. Divigrancia said.

Thus, the said event clarified the importance of research to the university especially to students in order to provide world class seafarers with knowledgable performance at peak. Being creative, complex and has collaborative efforts through teachers , also embodying this for essential quality of a student.

"I encourage my fellow department heads and faculty as well as administrative staffs to come up a research for the improvement of our university," said Dr. Brian Gil S. Sarinas.

The program ended with the closing remarks of Dr. Brian Gil S. Salinas by acknowledging every person who participated despite the hectic schedules.
