John B. Lacson Foundation Maritime University (Arevalo), Inc. upholds its tradition of excellence with a 100% passing rate for its 320 Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation students who took the Maritime Schools Assessment Program (MSAP) exam last May 17.

MSAP aims to assess the performance of BSMT and BSMarE students presently enrolled in maritime schools in the Philippines via a standard academic test that covers English, Mathematics, Science, and fundamental Deck/Engine Technical subjects.

The program is wholly supported by the International Mariners Management Association of Japan (IMMAJ) in Tokyo, Japan, and is implemented by the Manila-based Philippine-Japan Manning Consultative Council, Inc. (PJMCCC).
